Granite table idea

I just picked up a sweet deal on a granite piece.  It measures 24" x 42 1/2".  It is bullnosed around all edges, and I got it for $50.  I don't think it is wide enough to cut in a spot for my Lg BGE without possibly cracking.  What do you all think about placing a radius at one end where it will just roll up to the egg?  In my mind that would give me a little more prep space.  I could also build in some storage.

Makes sense to me.  Might actually turn out to be more convenient than a regular table.

Do you need it to wrap around the egg? What about building an island (with wheels if you want it mobile)? You would get maximum use out of the granite top, without having to bother to cut it.

I thought about that too.  It just seemed like a good idea to be able to butt it up around the egg.  May not really be necessary though.  That way I could actually put it between the egg and my gas grill.
