Thanks for the info @billyray and @HoosierEgg71.How many servings does one recipe make approximately? I'll have about 15 adults + 5 kids. If I double the recipe, is it recommended to make in two batches, or just throw it all in one DO/skillet? Any adjustment to cook time?Thanks!#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX.

Looks/sounds great!
@caliking - On other peach cobbler recipes I've seen recently there were notes about not doubling the recipe.

I made this recipe last weekend for a BBQ. I had to bring the dessert. I was amazing. I got more compliments than the bbq itself. Thanks for sharing. Keeping this recipe handy.

I just got delivery of my dutch oven and seasoned it today. Now I know what to do with it! I especially liked the Boy Scout story. Probably had wood chips int it. Thanks!

How many peaches does it take to make a peach cobbler like that?
XL BGE - Indianapolis, IN -
@RayBones Just wanted to say thank you. I made some peach cobbler today for the first time using your recipe, with the addition of some home made vanilla ice cream. Holy cow - this is life changing! I used fresh peaches, cooked indirect on the Weber in a 12" skillet. My new favorite desert hands down!

My girlfriend would love this...maybe an early birthday treat for her!
-
@OmahaOne . I used four, and the blanching technique suggested on the other peach thread made peeling them incredibly simple.Phoenix

I made this for the first time this weekend. It was fantastic! I did a trial run Saturday afternoon, made one Sunday morning to take to my church small group, and then made one more Sunday evening because I still had peaches and the small group didn't leave me any left-overs!Large BGE

I couldn't stand it anymore and made this last weekend after doing a bunch of Mediterranean Chicken on the Egg. I will say that yes it IS as EASY as it looks and it IS as GOOD as it looks....and I mean it is crazy-good. The family LOVED it. Thanks to @RayBones for posting this!!!

Love to order peach cobbler at restaurant, but I can't be making that stuff. I would eat the whole cobbler myself along with a half gallon of ice cream and a couple bottles of Paulaner Salvator.

So there is no stirring at all? How does the batter come to the top from the bottom. I'm missing that part. Thanks.
-
@82c52ksl - No Sir, NO Stirring at all. Batter goes on the bottom, you ladle the peach mixture on top of the batter and due to the baking powder in the batter mixture, the batter expands up and over the peaches during the bake process and the peaches sink to the bottom. As I said above, it really is that easy and it is delicious!
