Nice burgers. If I may make a suggestion for next time. Grind up a brisket to burgers. The best IMO.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now).

Mix in some bacon with the next batch and light those suckers up! Ground with bacon mixed in is the best! Gotta love new toys and getting to use them!Atlanta, GALarge BGE w/BBQ Guru & Compact Wood Table

Good job. Knowing that you did it, always makes things taste so much better. Start playing around with some blends now and find what works best for you.

Those burgers look great. I have the KA grinder but I have only used it once. I need to bust it back out!Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

I like to throw in leftover brisket or pulled pork - does pump up the flavor a bit. 10-15% of volume is all that I use.

I'm tempted to return the KA brand grinder I received and pick up the Chef's Choice one. Thoughts?Anyone hate the KA one? Is it bad?Just a hack that makes some $hitty BBQ....

We decided on the Chefs Choice because we had read some reviews about metal/plastic shavings getting in the meat on the KA brand. I have only used mine once but was happy with the way it worked and how easy it was to breakdown to clean.-----------------------------------------analyze adapt overcome2008 -Large BGE. 2013- Small BGE and 2015 - Mini. Other than one more finer grinder plate and double the warranty (2yrs vs 1), anyone know what the difference is between the Chef's Choice 796 and 799? These are $100 and $150 on Amazon.
