Hard cider for Injection Marinade (Pork shoulder pulled pork)?

Hi all,
so I was out of Apple Juice so I figured I would use a hard cider instead of apple juice in the injection marinade for a pork shoulder.  It is already done but figure I would ask if there was some chemical reaction where it might explode ;) and or ruin meat.
