  • It's all fun and games until somebody makes a racist remark. Or soaks their wood chunks.

No need to bring mountaindewbass into this one ;)

  • So let me think about this. I've made around 20 post today in between nap time and work, 3 were egg/food related. So 15% of my post cause cancer in California. %-(

True, you're an exception too: Hen Apple. Strange, but you didn't have a say.

@yzzi - Mr. yzzi, or is that Ms. yzzi?  For the second time posting tonight, I gotta fess up.  My real name is not Fred19Flintstone.  I live in Flint, Michigan and the handle is a nod to that.  My real name is Barney Rubble.  This is me:

Could this thread become a "sticky" thread? Or would that be " OT " ?

Am I the only one that loves how threads like this cause all hell to break loose?

The last one was a "I'm outta here" post from a Amazing Ribs cult member.

    Use mine as well.
It's hilarious with some of the bickering on here. I think The View might have some open slots coming up.

I went back over the last 7 pages on my droid and found about 6 OT post. All but 2 were clearly marked. Everything from pools, beers to shooting potatoes. Now, it's obvious to me which ones to skip. There's only one beer, can't afford a pool and I'm 48 years old... My potato shooting days are over. But I found 2 that weren't marked OT. Somebody posted a thread about his wife's new car. Like I give a rat's ass about his family's mode of transportation. The real kicker was the thread asking for prayer for the guy's mom. The nerve, the audacity, the unmitigated gaul. I mean is this a cooking forum or church? I mean, we are eggers, a bunch of guys and gals that love to cook, share ideas, recipes? Or.... Are we a group that is based on our love of food AND a group of folks that are social as well? A group that supports each other and gets to know other folks on a more personal level beyond egging. That meets at festivals more for the relationships than the egg. Do we have an egg forum or a group of friends that egg? I do like to hear about the wife's new car and the guy who wants us to pray for his mom. I like the OT stuff as well as the cooking stuff. Henapple

I'm 59 and shooting potatoes is still a blast -pun intended. Liked your post.

I really don't care about the names, just trying to keep the post from dying and hoping silver tuna is still getting an email each post. Although I'm still baffled by fred's admission.

Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.

It wasn't till Mr. Idiot made that salado video when I discovered there was no visible genetic relationship between Travis and his picture. He seemed like such a cool guy before.
