Doughboys

Doughboys?  This has more to do with the fella on the left.

Here's the ingredient photo.  The dowel rods are 1 1/4 inch.  The puddings are chocolate, vanilla and butterscotch.  Any type of filling would work.

Break out the chiminea!!  They could be made with the egg, but we thought it would be fun with the chiminea.  Plus it's easier to use by the baking staff.

Use the non-stick spray and lube one end of your dowel.  We used butter flavored.  Take a biscuit and cover the lubed end of the dowel.  Don't stretch it so thin you make holes.  If you do, all is ruined!  Just kidding.  Repair any holes and tears.  Here's one of my little bakers showing how it's done.

In they go!

You gotta rotate them for even cooking.  My other baker here is getting it done!

Pull 'em off when cooked.

Pipe in your filling using a plastic bag.  Butterscotch pudding in this one.

Whipped cream on top for fun.

We haven't used it much since we bought it last spring, but i'm looking forward to another heat source when it gets cold.

Nice Freddy - the smile on your daughter's face makes everything we do worth it, eh? Outdoor fires, chiminea or open fire pit are not allowed within our muni, I envy you - even if you do live in Flint.
