Had some leftover cedar planks from our new home build and used it to build this table. New to the egg but so far am really liking the versatility.
Plus it just looks so much better than a stainless steel grill

Very nice... Good use of leftover lumber! Did you already have the egg in a nest before?

The cedar looks very rich.Large, Medium, Mini, and Mini Max, a few too many accessories, 2 kids, 1 dog, and original wife. Lover of winter, powdery snow, and lots of golf.

New is always nice, specially when it is made from what you already have and is holding up an egg. Great table, enjoy it, and mount an opener on that thing.Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!

Looks good, welcome to the jungle. Back yard looks nice, where ya at?

I am new to egging and have been lurking the for a couple of months. The more I read the I knew I wanted the egg. I built the table from online plans but made it 72 inches long and I think 34 inches wide. I just built my dream home in northeast Ohio and have done many of the projects onmy own including laying hardwood flooring, planting grass and now building my first egg table.

Table looks awesome. Don't drink too much and fall off that patio though! Looks like quite a drop. You putting up a rail?LBGEZionsville, IN

definitely. As with any build you have to have priorities. Mine were big screen TV( sorry eggers) then Big Green egg, then safety systems

Very nice!My own cedar table is sitting in the garage screamin' at me to man up and jigsaw the hole for the EGG (never ever in my life used a jigsaw let alone cut anything that wasn't a straight line).@drmarko: What sealer / finish did you use? I really dig the way the cedar looks in your photo.
