LS - do you use the La Bomba hot sauce? I use the veggie mix. They seldom stock the hot sauce at my local Italian market.

I think LS uses a hot sauce, and I'm talking about wear welding gloves when using hot sauce.

Its a hot antipasto spread. It isn't readily available In the US. Specically it is Alessia brand. I
sent thousands of jars of it to eggheads in the US but the cost of doing that near killed me. It's good but pricy and costs more to ship than to buy.

Yes, but there are several companies that make la bomba. It's the Allesia brand that I use. It's very fresh and it doesn't have dehydrated chili flakes

Yes it is a very good and very expensive rice. La Bomba means The Bomb in Italian and with our bilingual rules it is also labeled as le Bombe. Shades of Inspector Clouseau

@Little_Steven - Thanks! Allesia is the local brand for me as well. Although i keep a jar on the shelf, we do make a hot giardiniera of our own.

Aurora is just around the corner from my office. I buy a lot of stuff there. $5.50 a jar for la Bomba
