As you should be. That's a kick ass backyard! One day, I will have something similar!SaltySam said:My table isn't worth showcasing. I'm awfully fond of my new backyard though. The Egg is in there somewhere.

Mine is still a work in progress...
I actually have a wet bar being built for where the white folding table is.
That's a 55" TV mounted in the cabinet on the wall in the background.

FlyingTivo ---- I noticed that handle --- now thats a thing of beauty. I have been racking my brain figuring a way to get my arm away from the flash!! Was thinking about building a "Handle Extension", but that "rig" you have does the job, and can be folded out of the way when not cooking a meal with flashback abilities!! Very nice!

You guys have some sick tables and set- ups!!! I am def. getting some ideas since I am moving in a couple of weeks and would love to steal some ideas!Peachtree City, Ga Large BGE

To the OP and Alton: It looks like both your eggs are sitting directly on wood, is it just a photo angle problem? This thread needs to be a "sticky", some great setups and this'll cost me more than "Yard Crashers"!^:)^___________

YEMTrey, thanks, no cover, the cabinets are made from a plastic material used on boats and the top is granite so all the materials should hold up to the outdoors. Plus the cover would need to be 10 foot long, it would be a pain to deal with. -
Here's mine!!! I'm new at this BGE but my first attempt came out good rib eyes and kabobs! I'm impressed with it already.

Here's mine:
I'd say its a "Work in Progress" but I think that could apply to most of our set ups as we Eggheads always seem to have room for a little more stuff. In my case, I'm hoping to build an outdoor kitchen some day.XL, Large, Small, Mini Eggs, Shirley Fabrication 24x36 Patio, Humphrey's Weekender, Karubecue C-60, MAK 1-Star General, Hasty Bake Gourmet, Santa Maria Grill, Webers: 14" WSM, 22.5" OTG, 22.5" Kettle Premium, WGA Charcoal, Summit S-620 NG

Here is my set up, XL BGE sitting in a Challenger grill cart. Wood tables in my area get chewed up pretty quick so it was either stone or metal that I was going to go with it. I decided on a grill cart from Challenger because I really liked the build quality and the materials they used (all powder coated stainless steel and aluminum). I aslo like the functionality of the cart.Sitting on an egg table nest. Here are all the drawers and cabinets open, lots of storage and the fact that the drawers roll out is a nice touch. Its also water proof due to the weatherstripping. The custom handle from Sparky was the final touch. Thanks,MP

I currently live in a downtown loft with no patio/balcony. I walk to work and restaurants, the river and quarter anytime I want which is awesome, but the Egg has no home. She has been staying with my parents and I only get to cook on the weekend. Finally rectified that situation, just had our offer accepted on a house, so this is the future home of my Egg.This summer it will just sit in a nest under there, but next summer I plan to build an outdoor kitchen with the egg table & prep area on the near side of the fireplace with a hood venting into the fireplace chimney and then 2 burners and a sink on the far side of the fire placeNot sure if I want to do something with stone or put in wood cabinets. Any ideas or input about storage options, cabinets, etc. would be greatly appreciated. So incredibly excited about finally having a backyard!"America has only three cities: New York, San Francisco, and New Orleans. Everywhere else is Cleveland." -Tennessee Williams

Nothing fancy here. Just a nest on the patio. Jealous of all the great outdoor kitchens.__________________________________________It's not a science, it's an art. And it's flawed.- Camp Hill, PA
