BBQ Pork and Beans for Teacher appreciation day contest - Pics
1- 28oz Bush’s Baked Beans
1 - 15oz Black Beans
1 - 15oz Pinto Beans
1 cup Brown Sugar
1tbs Worcestershire Sauce
1tbs Apple Cider Vinegar
1tbs Minced Garlic
1/4 cup Honey
1/4 cup Stubbs BBQ Sauce
2 tbs Fat Boys Cajun Rub
1/2 cup Ketchup
2 tbs Yellow Mustard
Boston Butt - Rinse, dry and coat with olive oil, sprinkle liberally with Fat Boys Cajun Rub.
BBQ Beans - Mix beans and all ingredients together in foil pan.
I started the Egg and set up for an indirect cook with BGE lump charcoal and Hickory chunks at 10pm last night. When the Egg was at 250 degrees and clear smoke about 11, I put the BBQ Beans on the platesetter with spacers and put the Boston Butt on the rack above the beans and smoked for about 2 hours then took the beans off and refrigerated over night and left the Butt on until 9:00am and had an internal temperature of 205 degrees. I did put the beans back on at 8:00 this morning to heat. Then I pulled the pork into chunks and spread it on top of the beans. It tasted fantastic so wish me luck.

I think you've got a winner. It looks and sounds awesome. I think it will taste spectacular because you have drippings, pork fat, and smoke in the mix. Plus since you cooked the beans and then refrigerated overnight, the flavors had a chance to get friendly with each other. I love eating leftover bbq (and Indian food) for that reason.
Now I'm hungry!
