I am a pretty young guy I would think, however George Jones was one of my favorite singers. Saw him twice actually in the last few years here in Edmonton with the wife. Anyways, RIP George.

Great country singer with many number one records, but he had a rough life !

He lived a couple of miles from here and several of the kids in my neighborhood fished in the lake on his property. In fact, they were supposed to have a pre-prom party at his home ths week. He drove an Audi with "No Show" for license plates and used to have a great Christmas light display. Not only a great singer, but seemed to be a very nice down to earth man at the end. RIP.
