The lid is very easy to lift. It was much better than I expected. It is a similar design to the XL, with some tweaks (I think)

The egg rarely goes low when the dome is open too long. It always comes back hotter than the original setting

I think the dome shape of the XXL seems better proportioned than the XL.  Also notice that the XL has the extra middle support on the nest, and the XXL does not.

i have the large,and i havent run out of room yet,i can just imagine the lump u go through with the xxl!!!  but that doesnt change the fact that i want one!!!!

Many people say they have been told the price but no MSRP has been declared by BGE yet! It will be between $1800-$4000 based on the responses  :-)

I think your only option is the platesetter (which I have been told is included)

Clearly I need to visit more. I had no idea an XXL was in the works. I'm in love.  :x

On another note, the XL is hard enough to move as is.... I cannot imagine trying to move the XXL, yikes!
