Here is a comparison of the XXL and the XL egg side by side. It definitely puts the size into perspective.

I know, generally when you see the XL next to the other eggs you think, wow that thing is huge. When you see it next to the XXL it is just dwarfed.

Does the XXL come with delivery and assembly?  If not, hopefully you're friends with the offensive or defensive line of a football team.

I feel a whole lot more like I do now than I did when I got here.

Now this size is worth sizing up from my large to this xxl. BGE did good going with this size and if it is under 2K, I will get one when the start offering them. There is a new king (size wise--I always thought the large performed better than the xl which is why I sold my xl) in the family. XL is no longer the largest.

I think it can be expected later this year in very limited quantities and I don't think the price has been established yet. It will be perfect for very large cooks (maybe a culinary partner or restaurant). The depth of the base is impressive in person.

Price is not set yet. When I got my mini plate setter last week I asked about the xxl and he said end of this year it will be available and I said I heard $4k and he said $2500-$3200. He said its in the low 400 pound range. This was in the retail store.

My dealer is one of the largest in GA and he was told by BGE that the xxl will run between 1,800-2,200 dollars. Sounds about right with what their competitor priced their similar sized one for.

Really think that this XXL egg is targeted at restaurants and bbq teams more then the average egger.  Can't imagine how many lump reducing rings this thing would take for a normal family cook.
I raise my kids, cook and golf.  When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.
Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

Congratulations dealers, now you all get to buy forklifts. :D  FWIW, I read an article about it the other day on-line and it said the price would be around $2000.00.

Based on the discussion yesterday it appears the price has yet to be set. I can also say that I have spoken directly to our distributor rep, the estimated arrival time has not been set yet either.

Btw Steven, If they took the fire box and ring out of the XXL, I think we could close you up inside of it!

Don't fall for the "pull my finger Gino" trick again and you won't have to find out

Better the "pull my finger' than the 'sniff my finger" that you and Zip keep playing on each other!
