Not happy with Table Nest

Unlike the way the Egg is built, tough, well, and attention to detail, I cant say the same for their Table Nest's. I just got mine in today for my XL Egg out of fear of having my table burnt even though it had a piece of tile and others have pavers. Well, the nest is about 2" to big. There is no way to center the Egg on the nest. Its either going to be perfect on one end and off of the other. Its driving me crazy, even though im 99.99% sure I have the egg on their correctly. Here are some pics so you can see what Im talking about. Its flush on the left side and front.

What size do you have? 

My Medium fits just fine. I think the idea is to have a table which will keep the egg from tumbling off, although in my case it stands alone. Are you sure you got the correct table nest. The egg sits on the nest, not in it.
