  • I am not a Canadian, but i know a lot of them, and never found many any "WEIRDER" than us Americans.....  But i think the egg works in eother country.  And Canadians can bake!!  They bring their own flour when they come to the States!! :)]
Interesting you say this @Charlie_Tuna. My US dealer (Egg dealer that is), also a friend, asks me to bring him a 20Kg bag of Rogers Silver Star flour every now and then. It makes great pizza crust and breads. At <$15 a bag, it is considerably less money than what he gets in the USA. On the other hand, I buy Wondra in the US, almost impossible to find it here in Canuckistan.
Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!
  • There is a group of about 80 people that socialize during the Fall and Winter months at an old barn where old time country music is played on Sat. nights.  About half the people are Canadian Snowbirds.  I usually bring the main dish, and everyone else bring some type of covered dish.  The Canadians bring a lot of baked goods, and they are sooo much better than American products??  They say it is our flour here in the U.S.A..  Just consider a plain old dinner roll!!  And many times, one of them will be returning home for some reason, there are always requests from fellow Canadians to bring back "More Flour".  And the cakes and pasteries!!! :)]
