Does anyone know where I can find information regarding wood chips and the flavor and color they give to meats?

Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -
Chart helps to get you started, but ultimately you have to get in there and try different woods with different meats to see what you like best. Personally, I use cherry with poultry and ribs. Hickory with for butts & brisket. My overall favorite is pecan. Great with everything.
