Egghead Weightloss Competition

I will try this competition. I highly doubt I will come close to winning. I have a hard time dealing with my personal health and making a change to correct it. Hopefully I will see how others are tryin to get healthy and something will rub off on me. According to the drs and their poster I need to loose ~80 lbs or dow to ~ 170. I highly doubt I will see that let alone below 200. Plus lowering my cholesterol (210) and triglycerides (452). Hopefully I will eat at least one healthy meal out of this.

For what it's worth, I have a few tips to control what you eat. Mrs. 500 does Weight Watchers and has lost a significant amount of weight. She says make smart choices, watch portion sizes, and write down your weight and what you eat. Write down everything, including water. When you look at it at the end of the day, it will help you think about self control. I'm going out to lunch today. I'm going to work on control by substituting a salad instead of the fries with my sandwich. Doing that plus exercise three days a week; even just a brisk 30 minute walk, will help. I'm all for winning this thing, but if I can help someone get over the hump and start moving the scale in the right direction, then all the better for all of us. I certainly need the motivation to work at this. Hope this helps a little.

209? I'm 209 lbs? Holy crap, I was 197 in late September!
Hopefully I can lose it as fast as I gained it.
@Bowhunr, your chili-dog filled, bacon-weave wrapped meatloaf will have to wait for another day.

For me the big thing in terms of weight loss is tracking everything. So I agree @GrannyX4. I just cooked up some deep dish pizzas on the eggs. Something that is really healthy on the egg and delicious is squash (Acorn, Delicata, etc) halved, put on the egg at around 350 or so. Add a tablespoon of coconut oil or butter, and toss in a teaspoon of brown sugar and bake for around 45 minutes until tender. That could give you a meal in and of itself!
