Ray Lampe (Dr BBQ) was in town for Cook-off before Kickoff for the SEC Championship. I spent about an hour with him and he is a great guy, Signed my copy of slow fire and we just talked Eggin!

Well known author/BBQ chef around these parts. I believe he used to frequent the forum a bit. Saw him here recently, also was on chopped BBQ edition on food network a while back. Can't say I've read and of his books though.
