I want to grill some type of chicken to chop up and serve on buns with white BBQ sauce (Big Bob Gibson style). Any suggestions what to do? Whole chicken, just breasts???

I like the dark meat better, but white meat will also work.

I'd suggest boneless breasts and bone in thighs thighs. The breasts will chop easy and the thighs have only one bone, also easy to get out and chop. Great thing is they will cook in almost the same time if you arrange then right and will be an easy rub/season. We use the Alabama White BBQ sauce (Mayo based) great on cold chicken and sandwiches.

    Good luck

Boneless chicken breast, cut in half (horizontally), cooked for a couple of minutes on each side.
