A CNC tube bender and a CNC water jet i will try and snap some pics when its in action next time

Wish I had half a million dollars worth of CNC tools at my disposal when I built my table... Impressive! I was going to ask how you made those tube joints.

Impressive, but why did you over engineer it to the extent you did? That will be difficult to move even on casters.

Over engineered, impossible. It rolls like butter with one handWish I had half a million dollars worth of CNC tools at my disposal when I built my table... Impressive! I was going to ask how you made those tube joints.
Joins are made with a CNC Plasma Tube Notcher. We can do tubing 1" to 8" Diameter and up to 12' LongHermosa Beach CA -

Is this really the weight? I have boat trailers that carry 2000+ lb. boats that weigh less than that. -
Its mostly from the cement block lol I dont know WTF its made from... a friend of mine made it with extra cement when they were at a site. Its three inches thick 18 x 24 I wont be asking him to make any more LOL. I found the exact kind I was looking for after he had finished.Hermosa Beach CA

You have:
18 x 14 x 3 = 756 cu in cement
divide by cubic foot (12^3)
756/1728 = 0.75 cubic feet cement
determine weight at 150 lb/cubic foot
150 x 0.75 = 112.5 pound cement block
13 lb/wheel x 4 = 52 pounds wheels
volume of maple
73 1/2L x 39 1/2w x 1 1/2H = 4440
4440/1728 = 2.6 cubic feet
at 47 lb/cubic foot = 120 pounds (minus hole)
about 282 pounds of wood, cement and wheels
so you have about 652 - 282 = 370 pounds of steel, about twice that of a chevy engine block (180 pounds)

Oh, made a mistake in the cement dimension...so there's less weight in steel than 370 lb

Make a mistake about making a mistake. I just typed the wrong cement dimension down. It's still 0.75 cubic feet.

I built a prototype sous vide bath (small one) just to get a feel on how the materials hold up, so I can make a larger unit later on. Fun fun fun.... Just can't use my shop when I'm at work....
