Not just another table

I have taken the positives of all designs and integrated them into one design.
1 3/4 wood top, 1500 lb casters, table will be powder coated for all weather conditions.
Finish welding and a couple more additions to the design will be added in the next couple of days,
with more pics to come. This table can support a house compared to all the wood tables I have
built in the past.

That should hold the Egg for sure!! Nice table. Are you going to add some storage shelves?
-
gorgeous. Beautiful design and execution!
-
yes wooden shelving next to the stepping stone. Extra items include paper towel dispenser and latex glove box holder and bottle opener mount just for funHermosa Beach CA

prototype of the L x L has been designed, it just hasn't been cut yet.Once we finish the latest design/costing we will put them out to the publicHermosa Beach CA

Well this board will be a great place for that information. We are table crazy.Once we finish the latest design/costing we will put them out to the public -
first picture is a L with offset egg... second picture is L with table space on both sides...
I cut the L x L late last night hope to have some pics for you soon rsmith193

Looking forward to seeing it. I need to make it a bit easier to get my eggs to the competitions. Loading 2 lg, 1 xl, and a sm, get to be a work out.

sounds like you need a trailer not a table....lolHermosa Beach CA

Your tables got sex appeal. Can't figure out what the metal post out the top is for?
-
ohhhh i just noticed that too ... that mounts under the table to hold you bottle opener

Your fab skills and vision for the final product is impressive. The gussets for the table mounts flow well with the bends on the legs. I'm a machinist and get to do some fabrication on the side at the shop so its easy for me to admire your skills. Great job! Oh and don't forget to share the after powder coat pics.

The traiiler we have, so a table like that would roll in and out so much easier. and wood tables just dont cut it.
-
well we have been welding away side plates were added for a clean look between the legs...currenlty both tables are at the powder coater .... so I decided to make some of the smaller items for fun paper towel holder and latex glove box holder.... all to mount under the table.... more table pics to come here shortlyHermosa Beach CA

Just finished some BBQ tool hooks .....

Jealous of your mad skills.

Sweeeet! My one piece of advice is to cut slots perpendicular to the grain of the wood and fasten so the wood can expand and contract along the cross grain. The metal isn't going to change dimension much with temperature and humidity, but softwood (especially) can expand and contract enough to split the glue joints or bow away from the top mount cross pieces.

Looks great. I'm interested! When are you going into production and where are you located? Have a new LBGE and an 12 year old Kamado K3 (mosaic tiled same diameter of a MBGE and same height of a LBGE)I was about a day day from pulling the trigger on one of Brian's Crisler's tables when the poop hit the fan on this forum (thank you all for saving me)!

That's a very nice table. Can't wait to see/hear about production.Large BGE as of Father's day '12 http://www.jwhit.com

Man I wish I had a welder!!! Nice job.... You need a T top over her and some rocket launchers to stick you cooking tools in!!!!Hunting-Fishing-Cookin' on my EGG! Nothing else compares!

Things are coming along great, this week and next week we will be doing a photo shoot to set up the web site. Stay tunedHermosa Beach CA

Just finished we went with a solid oak...73 1/2L x 39 1/2w 1 1/2H top for more space. made a charcuterie plate as well... Lots of man hours into these one's but the product should last as long as the egg with minimal maintenance

How the heck does it weigh that much? Is that solid rod rather than pipe/tubing?
