Two New Dizzy Pig Spices
I got home today and found a package in the mail from Dizzy Pig. It had totally slipped my mind that we had been exchanging e-mail last month. Chris over at DP was putting together a small group of cooks to try out some new spices and he wanted me to help. How cool is that?
So what are they? Sorry, this time you are going to have to click HERE if you want the whole story. Unfortunately, these rubs are not available to the public yet, but he assures me they will be this summer. So keep your eyes out and stay tuned for my review of them.

We do a lot of Indian grilling/cooking. If you aren't sure what to do with that rub Griff, lemme know and I'll pass along some of the stuff we do. TFJ is the Indian cook in our house but I do grill what she tells me to when she preps it (I'm smarter than I look). She makes an awesome yogurt marinade with Indian rub for chicken kebabs. It's easy and might be a good place to start.Keepin' It Weird in The ATX FBTX -
I would love any and all ideas of what to do with it. I have never cooked an indian food in my life. This will be new territory for me. I do believe, however, that brisket (or any cut of beef) would not be traditional.

Wow that is really cool! Congratulations!

Chicken in an Indian (homemade) yogurt marinade is to die for! I hear great things about DP and also that they are MSG-free, which is cool with me. It is hard for me to get over their price. Admittedly, I am jealous of your position. Congrats. However, from all the indian cooking I have heard/read/seen it is best to fresh grind the spices yourself. Amazon sells a spice box of Indian spices 30 for 30 with prime. But that is so cool they sent you some!

Tikka masala is one of my all time favorites. Getting hungry just thinking about it.
