Have done many low and slow butt's over the years without any "electronic devises" to monitor temp eggcept a Polder to check meat temp. Got a Maverick 732 for a B'day present. (Cinco de Mayo). Searched for a setting number for the grid...no luck. At 250 dome what should the temp setting be at the grid ?? Doing a couple of butts this week-end to celebrate with the family. Hopefully the Mav will allow me to get a full nights rest. Thanks guy's.

Not sure I get what you are asking. You want to set a grid temp to set a temp alarm or something like that?

At 250 dome I get about 225 at the grate on my maverick.

Trying to set the alarm temp at the grid...to maintain the 250 dome. Saw a post where the egger put the probe in the daisey wheel to monitor dome temp. The Maverick has a clip that you attach to the grate with a probe. That is the # I'm looking for. Thanks for the reply.
