Tri tip over the weekend

I followed some marinade I found on the forums here.  Cooked it at 250 for about an hour and cranked it up to 400 when it reached 120 to give it a little char.  I know this is not the way we normally like to cook it but this but my wife likes a little smoke flavor:)
