Thanks for the pics Kristi!I worked on the Shuttle boosters at Thiokol for two years (yeah, I was actually a rocket scientist!:(

Hahaha... No, I was barely chugging-away that early this morning.
But... I grew up with the shuttle program and can't help but get emotional every time. I knew I needed to get out there this morning to say goodbye. So glad I did.

Fantastic pics. Thanks for sharing!I remember when I moved to Sarasota I was on a sales call and the guy said, "Come outside and watch the shuttle launch." I looked at him like he was nuts being the shuttle launched from the other side of the state. Sure enough, we could see the vapor trail. What wonderful pictures! They evoke an emotional response with me. Pride in our nation for wha the shuttles achieved and sadness that they will never fly again. I said this in the similar thread a couple of weeks ago that it's a low down dirty shame what's happened to the Space Program!
