Being from Houston, I've seen my share, but we're 50 miles inland, so not like being right on the coast.  I seem to remember Pensacola getting hit head on a time or two.  The last one was fairly recent .. 7 or 8 years ago?

Yep. It was Ivan. Check out Bay st in GB. Pops house in in the middle. You can still see major damage in the woods and about half of the docks on the coast are still messed up.

there are some mighty fine houses on Bay St.  Also, I do see a lot of snapped trees in the woods.  I hate hurricanes that start with "I".  Ike leveled Galveston in 2008, and they still haven't recovered.
