Grilled Quail

Just wanted to know if anyone has grilled quail on their BGE and if so did you use direct or indirect heat?  Thanks

    Yes. And I saw that each whole bird was just about as big as a chicken leg quarter. I marinated the birds and cooked them raised, direct, and turned them often, some basting. I recall it was pretty quick, maybe 45 min.

    I did consider stuffing them, but thought a tablespoon of stuffing per bird would be silly for just a weekend meal.
  • Try wrapping with some bacon, indirect with some apple smoke.
