Guava Smoking Wood

I got my guava smoking wood today. The comments about it being a nice, exotic smoking wood made me order it. Can't beat $15 for 10 pounds of exotic smoking wood. Anyone care to comment more on it's flavor? Not much on the web about it. I haven't tried it yet, but it's dense and it reminds me of teak or mahogany.

    Yazoo, Mine hasn't arrived yet but I ordered 10# as well. As for the wood itself here's what I found...

    I haven't received my order yet (I also ordered 10#) but I am very interested to find out how it adds to the flavor of seafood. I have heard from a friend that it really compliments fish.
