You got my vote :pinch:Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

So they can tax carbon emissions no matter what the weather is. -RP
-
Pure b.s.! The climate has been changing as long as there's been a climate! And now algore is blaming one of the harshest winters in recent history on it!
-
Well, if I was in Fairbanks, Alaska today I'd be enjoying weather that is 18 higher than average (and all of 1 degree lower than where I actually am.)

Complete BS. is my .02
Carbon emissions and money is what its all about. :pinch:
JayI'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike Bar. -
It may be warming but it is certainly not man made. The one question global warming people can't answer is this:
If the earth at one time was in a great ice age what caused the rapid warm up to end the ice age? Obviously this was a tremendous warm up. It certainly was not man, and cars, and factories, etc. Bottom line is man has very little effect on mother nature. Never has and never will. -
Going to be 70 here today. :PDave San Jose, CA The Duke of Loney

Well, I can see this thread will be dominating the forum for the next couple days. Anyone setting the over/under on total number of replies?

Mastodon farts were a greenhouse gas. Thank goodness they're extinct. -
But they're not extinct, exactly. A team of Russian scientists has extracted usable DNA from skeletons tha have been preserved in ice and are in the process of cloning one to gestate in an elephant.
Yes, I'm serious. -
this is a scientific study of opinions of highly educated eggheads
should have more merit than what washington is telling us

It's more than a hoax, it's a business movement to line the pockets of guest speakers and bandwagon alternative energy that is a black hole for us taxpayers hard earned money. My blood pressure just went up.
-
I guess then someday we will be egging T-Rex tenderloins. That will be a good thread discussion.
-
No, but I've got a batch of corn popping!
-
are you trying to say that its more than a hoax and may actually be a money and or political scam. scratch the political, not appropriate here :laugh:fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it
-
I saw an article about that a few weeks ago. I suspect it won't be successful, but it's an interesting thought. Jurassic Park in real life.
-
If T-rex is anything like gator, it'll probably be better fried.
-
that has been my argument ever since this all started in the news... the earth has been though this before when we were not here.....
-
...unless you believe that earth only existed for a few days before man...what's a global warming debate without a little religion mixed in? Ah, this will be fun, until it gets ugly.
-
Well...
Take a look at the weather patterns: Record highs, record lows, record rain fall, snow for the folk down south, record hurricanes and cyclones, more tornadoes (even in places that don't normally see them), rapid swings in temperature, record storms producing major wind, rain, snow.....
Tell me that this is normal. Just a phase....
In the past 10 years (or so) I have really noticed more and more weird changes in our weather, more so here in MN because I life here, but other places too.
Call it what you want, but it ain't the norm anymore. -
it must be global warming, its not good to be an ice trucker on thin ice  why would someone take a fully loaded salt truck on sebago  idiot, its not safe enough for my wheeler yet

It's only been a few decades ago that the more 'learned' doctors and scientists of the day proclaimed that bathing was bad. And in the process, created a $200 per oz perfume industry.

I remember reading somewhere after Mt. St. Helens exploded that it put more pollution into the air than man had since the industrial revolution. Since then we have had a number of volcanoes blow their top's. I guess that has not added to the airborne pollution. While I believe we should not just pour motor oil into our waters, global warming is a farce. It has been getting warmer since the last ice age. Though Al Gore just stated that these cold weather patterns we are having are all indications of global warming. He invented the internet I hear.

it was that tsunami that shifted the axis of the planet, perfectly natural occurrence  we are getting hammered with snow this year, just like when i was a kid 40 years ago. just over 10 years ago we were facing an ice age

You should all just accept what the governments of the world are proclaiming as gospel truth and move on. There's no reason to doubt.
The streets shall flow with the blood of the non-believers. -
Years ago, winters were so cold that people would drive cars across the frozen Long Island Sound between Pelham Bay and City Island.

we are throwing rocks in egypt, maybe it will catch on :woohoo:fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

Right now I could use a little global warming. My internal thermometer seems to have broke and I've not even hit 40.
On the other hand I don't like the heat either and love snow. Why can't it just be 31 degrees and snow half the year and 80 degrees and and clear skies the rest of the year? :woohoo: -
20 and 75 would work for me, would still be able to walk on waterfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it
