  • OT warning -Penzey's Spices Diatribe - OT warning

I just received an email from Penzey's Spices regarding the presidential election and how hurt they are regarding Mr. Trumps election. Is it just my misunderstanding or have corporations now earned the right to vote and have somehow become sentient beings? Penzeys has good products and I have bought them for years but I personally don't give a hoot about their sexual preferences or who feels bad about what happened. Whether they like it or not, he IS their president for the next four years and they should at the least respect the office if not the man. Buck up people or risk losing customers! I respect free speech for individuals but feel granting it to a nonentity is going too far. Stepping off my soap box now. If this gets me banned, it's been nice knowing you folks but I cannot keep quiet about this, it absolutely infuriated me..
  • Re: Love my new chamber sealer!!

For those of you into coffee and espresso, I have been sealing my unground beans in pint mason jars in the VP210. If there is any difference in the flavor, I cannot taste it even after 2 weeks storage.

And while you're at it, buy a cut proof glove to wear. Those things are wicked sharp and a few things don't fit well in the holders.
  • Re: Boos Block

To stop sliding on a slick surface, dampen a tea towel and place it under the board. Easy peasy, no slip.
  • Re: TWINS

Donnie,  I admire your work and your setup also. You are a fine man with a noble mission.

I just ordered my drip pans for my XL from www.lloydpans.com . They are bare aluminum deep dish pizza pans. 18"X1.5" so no interference with cooking grid like my old 20"X2" water heater pan caused when on the plate setter. They also won't overhang the platesetter and are quite a bit heavier and no hole to deal with. It looks like you are well set for now but may want to look into these in the future. Part number was:  H76R-18X1.5
