I am surprised that the Red Bull did not give your chicken the energy to run around like a chicken with it's head cut off
.. :silly:
ok that is bad American humor...the bird looked great :P -
Kim,

I wanted a mini to go with my large but my dealer talked me into a small instead, now I have to go buy another egg
-
that dealer was no dummy. but really the mini is almost a state of mind. I can not believe how much we use ours. it looks like a toy but isn't. I bet my local dealer does not even know they make a mini

jepp,
the mini is great !
beercanchicken or Redbullchicken take almost about 2-3 KG charcoal or charcoal brikkets on the Weber OTG LTG 57cm - 22" -
about 2 KG on the Kip Grill
on the Mini Egg about 200-300 gramm
no stress on the egg, no moping, just keep going..
this machine runs like a WSM, over several of time ( fck. english ? )
cheers -
Sieht super aus!
How did the temperature hold?
From my experience with the mini the biggest problem is finding the right temperature when there is food in there.
I know my settings without the food, but as soon as you get a good piece of meat in there (whole chicken, tritip, brisket) the temeprature drops off big time and doesn't return to where it is supposed to be.
I guess Im going just by feel/ looks from now on and giving it a try.
T tried removing the thermometer and attaching it from the outside when I cook big pieces of meat, but that doesn't work that well either. -
Looks great!
