My new table

Just had my new table delivered. It was custom made for me by Meadow Creek BBQ in New Holland, PA. It's 7 feet long and made of Azek composite 'wood' which is the same material as our deck. I put some flagstone on top as a place to put hot stuff.

Very nice....

Very Trick!

I really like the cabinets! Looks great.

This may be a newb question and just out of not knowing the material, but that composite "wood" is mostly plastic if I recall. I know the Egg doesn't get "too" scalding hot, but long periods at the temp it gets to, won't that melt some of the "wood"?

Very nice. I'm sure you will get years of enjoyment from it.Larry

There is a thick piece of flagstone under the egg and 3 of the green feet on the flagstone giving some air space between the egg and the flagstone. This is supposed to be good enough to prevent damage to the composite material.

Looks fantastic and very functional.
-
Very sweet!! What's the drawer under the egg for? Platesetter?
-
That's the best looking table that I have seen yet.
-
that is one great looking table
-
I don't know if a plate setter would fit. I am using it for all my small tools and the pizza stone.

Meadow Creek did a great job. If I was handy with tools, I would have tried to make my own.

Great looking table. Nice craftsmanship.
Three questions.... how does the airflow get to the bottom vent? do you have to cook with the "oven door" open? does it get in your way? -
NICE!!!!
-
Take a look at the picture again. The bottom vent is always exposed to the outside air. The egg sits on 3 green 'feet' on top of a piece of flagstone above that stainless steel drawer. The drawer is just for storage of small items and does not stay open while cooking.

That's one heck of a table. I love it!
It looks like there is not much space between the table top and the egg lid opening. Do you have any heat issues near the table top?

Curious as to hold the table held up after 2 years.Bx - > NJ ->TX!!!All to get cheaper brisket!

Nice looking set up. Like the back splash, keeps stuff from rolling away.Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!

I went to their eggfest. Nice store run by an Amish family.
-
The table has held up very nicely after several years. No heat issues.

Besides the 3 green feet why not put pennies under the flagstone to help stop heat from conducting down to the composite wood.

That is Sweet. When I build my outdoor kitchen (semi-kitchen) I hop it comes out that nice.

Nice job on the table. I really like the storage you have.
