Long ago in a Forum far, far away...
There was a group of really unique people. They included the likes of Chubby, CarWashMike, SpringChicken, Grillmeister, ChefWil, WessB, Sandbagger (aka, tjv), Skyrider, MollyShark, Trex, Popsicle, WooDoggies, NatureBoy, NakedWhiz, MadMax, BlueSmoke, Smokin'Todd, Squeeze, Fishlessman, and many, many more who have contributed to the ultimate success of this Forum. The sarcastic banter was refreshing!
It goes way back even further to folks like ElderWard, and CharWoody (my Man!) These folks are still among the best. Many more like AZRP (an oldtimer just because of his advanced age :woohoo: ), Hoss, thirdeye, and an assortment of frequent posters keep this Forum going strong.
Thankfully, many are still around, and I know that many others are still lurking, just waiting for an appropriate moment to strike in the name of redemption!
I know that their contemporaries salute them, and are doing their best to follow in their paths. However, there are some things that simply cannot be improved upon. That's why we need you to show yourselves every now and then....you :silly: ****
This Forum is a good thing.

Thanks, You Guys!

LR, it’s partially you fault because ever since you sent me this custom bottle opener, I have been trying to wear it out. Not having much luck but a is a lot of fun trying. Maybe you could do a 1000 bottle checkup at the OK or Tx fest. PopsicleWillis Tx.

Very well said! And from one of us newbies (less than a year), thank you all for being so patient with those of us who come in and ask the same questions y'all have answered many times over AND for sharing your knowledge and love of all things BGE.Egging in Crossville, TN

Well said.
Several mentioned also have invested a substantial amount of time in their websites. If you would combine their websites, you would end up with an Green Egg encyclopedia.
I visit the websites often but miss their posts. -
Didn't mean to leave you out....it's just that my recall is about as long as my........hair on top of my head

From a "hooked from the assembly" egger (and i use the word egger only because i own an egg) I can not say thank ya'll enough for the friendly welcome, eggspert advice and sometimes hilarious exchanges between friends. I can not wait to feel like one of the gang and to have something to offer other than questions. What a wonderful fathers day presant my egg turned out to be....who would have thunk it. :cheer:

Yeah, but I'm OK with that.

HOWL. Am proud to be included in this band of outlaws. Now if I can quit overcooking the damn tuna!
Am out here at Lake Havasu City getting primed for the class this weekend. Maybe by the time I leave on Saturday I will be conditioned NOT to overcook the tuna (I have rawtunaphobia).
Now looking at that pix I'm wondering if I want to lighten my hair up again. Don't think I can deal with these heavy thoughts before breakfast. Great pix, Chubs. Miss u.
