Sounds strange but this turned out to be a fantastic meal.. did a flat iron with a Maple/Mustard/Balsamic marinade.. used the left over marinade to make a sauce to pour over the steak after egging...
yep that is pecan pieces sauteed in maple syrup and then the whole thing sprinkled with blue cheese.. :woohoo:
Plated with fresh broccolli and cheese sauce with homemade potato salad...yum!! :woohoo:

Eastern part of the state, on I75. 80 miles South of Lexington and 80 miles North of Knoxville. Home of KFC and Cumberland Falls and the Corbin Redhounds! We are probably about 3 hours apart.

Hey Lisa, not to change the subject, but your mentioned KFC. I work with the grandson of the man who created the "original recipe". He was the nephew of Colonel Sanders. Not everyone knows the Colonel could not cook.

Thats my kind of meal!

Tucky:
You're doing great with the new camera, nice looking eats. Today a coworker told me his BIL sent him two bottles of Buffalo Trace Bourbon and one is for me.
There is no where within 100 miles from here that you can buy it. I'll be posting a drink the best and cook with the rest post soon. -
