First Pizza my A$$. Who you trying to fool buddy. but OT you might want to know that I hacked in to the reservations for Eggtoberfest so you might be surprised when you show up. Great cook buddy, you may or may not be happy to see me in Atlanta

Hey Pat,you better be nice,I know where you live   ;) I also know that you couldn't hack into a paper bag
  • I'm not buying that "First Pizzas" bit either. Them look too good! What did you use for sauce and what did you use to transfer the pies to the stone? Looks like dome at 500, how about the time? Stone on grid on platesetter? For next time, you don't need a rolling pin (nor a propane tank) with that Publix dough. Says right there on the instructions on the bag: Just press it out if you like thick crust. Actually, I dusted it with flour (as well as my hands) and tossed it. Spreads out nicely.
    Ciao!

Hey Bert,I was trying for thin crust, but the results were still great. The dome was at 500 and they cooked for around 10-12 minutes each.We used store bought sauce also  I am very happy with the pizzas, and will be doing them again soon :woohoo: We built the pies on parchment paper, and just slid the whole thing onto the stone. Then just slid the finished pie onto the baking pan when done ;)
