Hello, everyone. Yep, a dream comes true tomorrow. I'm as excited as a child...pitiful, huh? [p]It was this great forum that persuaded me to buy the BGE. Yall are so supportive of one another and I'm amazed at your passion for everything having to do with the Egg. It's rare nowadays to see people who are so willing to help noobs, really to bend over backwards...great stuff![p]Anyway, I'm pleased to join the club and hope someday with a lot of practice and experience, I'll be able to help others as you have helped me.[p]Best to all![p]Shoat

Congratulations... toss the egg book after you fill out and send in your green warrantay card and ask your cooking questions here :=) Ok, you don't have to toss it you might need to calibrate the thermometer as seen on page 30. Check out the Naked whiz website.... it has really helped me!!!

Shoat,[p]You're excited as a child...as well you should be. Pitiful?? I don't think so....not here anyways. I think there is alittle kid in alot of us with our eggs, tables and accessories and the kid-like enthusiasm we show. Have lots of fun and good food with your egg. Check here often for advice, ideas and just to see what the heck we are all up to.

Be sure to tell us all about your first cook. I remember mine was pizza... and my wife did sugar cookies on the stone for desert this all happened 9-06 ;+)
