Last night wifey and I had S U P E R B New York strips thanks to Dr Chicken and special mention to Sprinter. I had slathered them nearly a week ago with Consorzio brand Roasted Garlic Olive Oil and then sealed them in a plastic bag. Using my small egg I went 3/3/4 at 650° and they were perfect...nicely dark brown outside and pink inside. Topped off upon serving with a few pieces of ghee which melted immediately. Talk about a steak to die for...wow! Thanks, Dr Chicken!
