@fence0407 I had the old Mini nest and bought the carrier too. While $70 seemed pretty steep to me, I would buy it again in a second. If you take it with you anywhere, just do yourself a favor and buy one.L x2, M, S, Mini and a Blackstone 36. She says I have enough now....eggAddict from MN!

Does anyone here have a mini and minimax? Other than weight and cooking surface area, other meaningful differences in performance?

Love my Mini, but it's a lot grubbier than most of those in the photos. Don't those folks use them much, or is it that I'm such a slob? Now that's asking for it!Judy in San Diego

I have only had the mini for 5-6 months. It's my main cooker. I use it for almost every cook; used the small only twice since I got the mini. The mini is a real work horse. I am single so it way big enough to cook whatever I want unless I cook a butt or brisket. Then I use the small. -
Here's my new (to me) mini that I went and picked up this morning. Came with the heat deflector and the CI grate. The previous owner said that it has a new fire box. Gonna get a mini carrier and use it for tailgating/road trips.
