Man o man, what a feast! what's in the foil blocks, btw?
For the pressed samiches like how Cuban Sammiches are made.

Yep. @canugghead those are bricks wrapped in foil to flatten the sammies.
Thanks, I thought so but the different sizes got me wondering  :)

    Next step, homemade mustard.

This cook was a blast because everyone had a hand it it, and I wish I had a good pick of all the great sides and dessert, too.  I was just nibbling along, and found myself cripplingly full.

We have discussed doing this at scale.  Everything would be pretty easy to do in size (which is what we did with the butt and the ham this time), except the bread.

This one was worth the effort.  Thanks for all the kind comments.

    Most excellent meal !!!!!!

In cooking, often we implement steps for which we have no explanations other than ‘that’s what everybody else does’ or ‘that’s what I have been told.’  Dare to think for yourself.

WOW.  The next time we share a tent at an Eggfest, you guys have to cook that.  I won't cook anything.  I'll just help you guys out and bring the beer.  Then I'll eat a whole bunch of it when it's done.  My son will need some help carrying me home.
