i posted earlier in the week about smoking/grilling some chicken for my BIL's high school graduation. Going to grill it tonight, transport tomorrow and reheat Saturday for lunch. Not ideal but safest option. Have a lot of thighs, breasts and drumsticks. All dusted in Memphis BBQ supply sweet rub (this guy won best sauce for tomato and vinegar base at Memphis in May last week, plus a super nice/helpful guy). Injected breast and marinated thighs in mix of allegro hot and spicy, butter, apple juice and the BBQ rub. On now at about 375 with one chunk of peach. Will do breasts raised direct 400 when thighs and drumsticks come off.
Made some mustard vinegar sauce I found in the archives on here from bbqbrethren. Thanks again fellas.
making use of the DIY second tier.
More pictures to follow. Oh and I need more food safe gloves.

The greatest barrier against all wisdom, the stronghold against knowledge itself, is the single thought, in ones mind, that they already have it all figured out. -
Caught you red handed trying to get it all together, huh? Looks like you have everything under control. Good luck and please post final results.Always seeking the high I experienced from my first true BBQ experience.

Let the legs and thighs go direct at the end for a little char. They are wrapped and about to go into fridge. Breasts are on raised direct now at about 425-450.

Midnight. All chicken is off and wrapped. Letting it sit for a minute before throwing into fridge. Looks and smells good. Hope it turns out well Saturday.

Ths is a lot of yardbird! It looks great. I would have to sample one of each prior to storing.
Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg. -
@SmokeyPitt weirdest thing happened.... Final tally was off by a thigh and a drumstick. Might have to look into a new grate.Memphis, TN ----> Chattanooga, TN

Looks good. Let us know how they taste and how they're appreciated!
Be curious to know about those boneless/skinless breasts. Curious how they reheated..
I grilled/smoked some boneless/skinless/thighs this week that the kids loved.
