I kind of have a tradition of doing egg rolls on Superbowl Sunday. This year my team is playing (yes the hated one) and I am on the fence if I should do some egg rolls, something else, or contract Papa Murphy for some lazy mans pizza.
I am not opposed to cooking but need some inspiration if anyone cares to share what they have going on or plan to-
I put up a couple of egg roll pics from another time hoping it will inspire me-
This sob was homemade duck confit with red cabbage, onions, and cream cheese. Veggies sweated in duck fat too-

Considering the team you are rooting for........Cook up some ABT's, just make sure the bacon is wrapped tightly, you don't want any of the filling to deflate out. >-

The hated one isn't specific enough. This Superbowl is like choosing between being hung and electrocuted. Rain in the forecast for me so it's the Salado Brisket Chili recipe that's immensely popular on the site. Bought a 6 lb butt in case I get the itch Sunday morning.

Spare ribs, wings (maybe cazzy), what we call birdies (jalapeño, chicken, cheese wrapped in bacon). Had never heard of mpd's or abt's until here. Wifey isn't so sure about mixing bacon and jalapeño with chocolate or cherries. But everyone here raves about them.LBGE | Conroe, TX

there's only going to be about 7 or 8 of us, so I'm keeping it simple so we can spend less time cooking and cleaning and more time watching the game. Pizza's on the large and loading the MiniMax with wings...I may do a few of the MPDs, which will be a first for me.

We are doing @Travis Oklahoma prime rib, Alaska king crab legs, whole beef tenderloin roast with steak Diane sauce, stuffed shrimp, blackened grouper cheeks, Thai sweet chili wings (from the fresh market) clam chowder, assorted side salads, and cheese and crackers with bacon jam. MDSH planned the menu. I'm just a SWMBO!!!! ;;)Every day is a bonus day and every meal is a banquet in Winter Springs, Fl !

Pepper stout beef, macaroni salad.

Someone mentioned pork tenderloin sandwiches the other day pounded flat then breaded and fried. This was one of my favorite things my parents used to make and I haven't had them in about 20 years. Gonna try my own twist and smoke the tenderloins at 200 or so till they hit 140 then slice half inches slices then egg bath and bread crumbs and fry on the mini. Got my guru adapter for my backwoods finally so doing the loins in it. Tomorrow will be a good day.

I am going to throw a pot of chili on and go to the shooting range during the game. I will have the place all to myself. Maybe do some wings when I get home. If its not SEC, its not football.
