OT- vision kamado.

I'll preface this with I have a large and small bge and LOVE them both, but I just scored a vision from sams for 199 bucks marked down from 399. It has 16 1/2 " grid so guess its the same as a medium. Came with shelves and nest. It will be mainly for the camp. At that price, I had to try it.

Thats was a good find. I have LBGE knock ofd from China that I call ChEgg for the money I paid it doesn't owe me anything. I also have an XL BGE and a Joe Jr.

I'd like to add that I bought a Visions KUB in August of 2013 when Costco blew them out for $99. Its been great and both of my sons also have them too. Its a great Mini-sized cooker (even at its full price of $249.) Last week the dome on mine cracked, and I have a tracking number for FedEx from Visions Grills and expect the replacement dome tomorrow or Saturday. Warranty claim placed Monday. I. Have. No. Complaints.When I'm not Eggin', I'm scootin' Eggin' and 'cueing from Temecula Ca; an hour from San Diego, an hour and five minutes from Palm Springs, and an hour and a half from Los Angeles (yeah, right. With THAT traffic?)

Great catch on your part, sounds like the classic M series. In Canuckistan I've only seen the Vision Pro series which is a POS, the two classics Ive seen are excellent. Enjoy.Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!

Its the m-series. 16 1/2" grid. Havent even put it together but went ahead and ordered a woo and stone. Not even messing around.

If anyone is interested in one in Maryland they had like 10 or so at SAMs in Annapolis. If I had not just bought a joe jr I would be on this like flies on horse poop on a 90 degree day.

So the classic series is worth the money? I've got a buddy who drools over my egg and just bought a house. This, if a decent grill, would be a great gift! Does anyone have practical experience with these (durability, quality for heat retention, etc)?Large BGE in Moore, OK -
They look great for 200 bucks. I looked at it pretty good. Lid felt nice and heavy, unlike a lot of knock offs I've seen.

I've showed it before my knock off I call ChEgg. All stainless steel bands and stand and ceramic is just as heavy and comes fully equipped. ChEgg is missing the warranty one to two years buts it only cost a 1/3rd the price.

I dont even know. I think so, but even if its not for 200 bucks its nice enough. I've spent way more on worse stuff. I thought it was a deal at 299 but 199?, good Lord I've got more than that tied up just in accessories for my eggs.boochsr71 said:do they have any kind of warrinty??

I've used one quite a bit and it definitely works well. I had to do a modification around the vent door for a better seal but once done it has worked great. Firebox has a crack in it now, not unlike what happens to BGE's boxes. It still works fine. Warranty is very similar to current BGE.Be WellKnoxville TN
