Did some beef back ribs for dinner tonight. Started using my bag of fogo I ordered from Amazon and I must say im impressed. Large chunks of lump and burns very clean. Topped off with some cherry wood for smoke and came out with a nice smoke ring. Happy Friday!!!

Nice looking ribs, I agree on the Fogo, clean burning, long lasting as well.

These have been on my short list for awhile now, but I'm having trouble finding them in slabs.

@YEMTrey me too. The only worthwhile ones I can find are short rib plates at my butcher.

Thanks fellas. @Chowman - egg temp was around 325 for 1:15 then foiled with some honey and water for another hour, then back on the egg basted with bbq for 15 min. Temp got a little away from me on the high side toward the end but still came out good. Here's the recipe I followed: http://www.nibblemethis.com/2010/09/beef-back-ribs-aka-dino-bones.html

Damn the torpedoes, grab any beef ribs and give them a go-pork ribs will then be assigned to second place. FWIW-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.
