Many of you know, my Mom has had a rough time lately. She is now in a nursing /rehabilitation center. She was moved there 12/31. While driving back to the nursing home from her cancer treatment she said she wanted some BBQ. I told her I would cook some for her then. So that's what you have folks. Simple run of the mill 9.5lb Boston butt. Usually go semi turbo, but going 250° tonight for tomorrow for lunch. Will pull at 180° and coarse chop. Hickory and little apple for smoke and using Fogo lump. Rub is a concoction of Jim's Own Smokey rub, more salt, pepper, season salt, brown sugar, and rubbed with worstashire sauce. Thought I'd try something different. imageimage
