And I don't mean smoking a cigar in 10deg weather. Can anyone offer info on cold smoking with the egg? Is it possible? Looking to possibly smoke some tuna or salmon.
The problem with a problem is that you don't know it's a problem until it's a problem, and that is a big problem.

There are several bacon and cheese threads going right now. This link keeps popping up. Good info from @The Cen-Tex Smoker

hmmm seems like an external box with a flexible [aluminum] dryer exhaust to connect to the top of the egg to the box might do the trick... Keep the egg at 200 or so with lots of chips and the heat in box will be much cooler. There is a pic of it somewhere on this forum...

My neighbor has this one. It's impressive. I just don't need this much smoke (yet) http://www.smokedaddyinc.com/accessories I have this. It suits my needs (for now). Solid company. Great customer service. http://www.amazenproducts.com/ This is what I use to use. It worked but I needed to buy something. Besides I don't like plugs mixed with my egg. http://youtu.be/sivMMDnUEpc I never smoked fish so I have no idea how much smoke it takes. If you have another egg the dryer hose will work as wellLBGE& SBGE———————————————•———————– Pennsylvania / poconos

The easiest way is a soldong iron of you already have one, an empty green bean can with a hole cut in the bottom for the soldering iron, fill can with wood chips, insert the soldering iron and away you go. Much better option is an http://www.amazenproducts.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=AMNPS5X8

If you used your soldering iron with real solder (lead), you may want to replace the tip before using it around food.
I like my AMNPS, I've used it to cold smoke bacon, nuts, and cheese.They/Them

@DMW excellent point, didn't even think of that. The inexpensive amazin smoker is by far the way to go
