I was just messing around, but the sauce tasted good. If I did it again I'd do something like this:
Cook some onions in butter until softened. Add about 1.5 cups red wine and 2 tbs tomato paste and reduce a bit. Strain and save the liquid. Make a roux with 2 tbs butter and tbs flour, then whisk in the saved liquid. Then add some gorgonzola. I probably used about 3 tbs or so? Like I said I was messing around so I'm sorry I don't have a real recipe.
I steamed the sprouts in the microwave for 3 minutes, and honestly thought a diaper needed changing. Then tossed in olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika, and roasted at 425. The roasting really makes them sweet. Love those things!

I usually par boil mine then shock in ice bath before putting in a skillet with some honey and bacon.

@Wolfpack that sounds awesome, do you sauté the sprouts in the bacon then add the honey at the end? I want to try that way for sure
