Really enjoyed the rack if lamb last night. As good as ribeye. Do other cuts taste as well? I may have opened Pandora's box for me and a door for the family.

Rack and tenderloin are the mildest. Followed by loin chops. Imho the shanks are the best cut. Tough if you don't braise or low and slow but very mild in a braise.

Shanks are my favourite but I really like lamb ribs. We just got a whole lamb cut up and I'm looking forward to slow cooked lamb ribs. They are amazing. Chops are OK, I don't actually find them that amazing but marinades with oregano, garlic, a good olive oil and lemon and they can be nice.Gonna try to make merguez with the trimmings sometime (and may blend in some venison to stretch the lamb, I think they will work well together).Mt Elgin Ontario - just a Large.

That was a good cut of meat if it was as good as a ribeye.
Lamb chops are also delicious. Well seasoned and grilled direct for a few minutes per side. Mmmmmm need to do some soon!Chicago, IL - Large and Small BGE - Weber Gasser and Kettle -

The DP Metiterrian-ish Greek seasoning is great on lamb."I'm stupidest when I try to be funny"

Sam's club used to have New Zealand lamb chops that were pretty good.
Leg of lamb is fun to grill. LS made lamb curry out of boneless leg from Costco at Salado... while he was drinking your beer.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -

best cut for me is the little centercut tbone chops, they are like candy. i also like the leg cubed and kabobed on rosemary skewers. if youve never made shepards pie with lamb you should and use this recipe/method, i add extra broth and a guinnes to braise it in the oven for the 2 hours, then remove some and make the richest gravy. and those skewers posted by necessary indulgances is unreal, syrian bread, kofta kebab, tzatziki sauce, some tebouleh, great rollup

We cook boneless leg of lamb frequently. Raised direct to MR (125F) with a nice char on the outside. Our I'll marinate cubed leg and cook kabob style. Also MR. delicious.______________________________________________I love lamp..

I'm cooking lamb leg kabobs tonight, as a matter of fact. Off to a late start. SWMBO is working a bit late.

If you like lamb. You should take a look at the lamb recipes on a web site called Kalofagas it is a traditional to foodie Greek web site. Some of the comments are actually in Greek. Great food recipes IMO. I have cooked several of them and this is my go to site for lamb.
