Saturday Errands And A Cook Eventually...
Replaced the guts in 3 of our toilets, real "look at me, doing grown up dad ****" stuff right there
Picked up a Wegman's boneless pork shoulder roast that's all ready to be cooked in an oven bag, it's been marinated with oranges and all sorts of Italian spices... Supposed to be cooked in the oven, in the bag(with holes), at 350 for 3 or so hours... I'm just going to dump the whole mess into a foil pan and do it on the egg with a little apple wood for smoke and see what happens. Going to make some braised kale for a side...
Tomorrow it's really supposed to feel like Fall, in the high 50's and breezy... Got all the makings for a DO full of Guinness Beef Stew
Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far...
Pics later...

Sounds good! Suppose to be in the low 40's here tonight with a high of 72. It will be the coldest it's been this yearn and I'm looking forward to it. I hate the heat...

I think we are suppose to get down to the low 90's. Maybe even into the high 80's. That will be shocking if it gets that cold this early. Might have to get the shoes out and put up the flip flops

Sounds like me & HuskerMaMa's day. Went to breakfast where our Son cooks early this AM. Then to optometrist, T-Mobile to upgrade our family plan and upgraded two of our devices. Brought some paint and had Home Depot shake it to refresh it. Picked up some vittles for Lili Ann at PetsMart. And now we're at the nail salon. I too will eventually get home and egg something (will probably go with a simple meal).LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

Braising pan, olive oil, minced garlic, about 1 cup of diced andouille, get them happy and then add a pound of chopped kale. At that point add some white wine and stir occasionally. Once the kale starts to reduce; turn the heat to low and let it wait till you're ready to eat.yzzi said:Can you share more info about this braised kale?

You'll like the roast. The Asian style is good too. I haven't tried their BBQ one yet.

Yeah just wanted to know what phone, I have the 6 and the slow mo is pretty cool but ultimately I've decided I'm not 100% sold on iPhone.
Came from android will try windows for a while with good deal off swappa.
Camera is top notch on this thing though.Seattle, WA -
Not sure what's next, but I will probably upgrade to the 6 next year. The 6+ is too big for what I need...SkinnyV said:Yeah just wanted to know what phone, I have the 6 and the slow mo is pretty cool but ultimately I've decided I'm not 100% sold on iPhone.

Just had an interesting phone conversation with @nolaegghead regard turtle meat... It was awesome and surreal at the same time. All that BS about him being that kind of guy... It's true! Even more genuine on the phone than on the forum...
Willing to go above and way beyond just from an exploratory text about something so simple as turtle meat. Makes me even more sorry that I missed brisket camp!
Upon explaining my phone call with @nolaegghead to my wife, she tells me "why don't you go?" Regarding Salado... Makes that a little more in reach...
I'm consistently surprised by the quality of people on this forum and in the community of the egg...MSV Chill Spot

Must be the cooking... Or maybe the jäger spice shots. My wife just gave me the green light on a 70" Vizio for our main viewing screen. Our 14yr old Sony XBR is staring to show its age a little... Sorry to see this beast of a tube TV sent to basement cartoon duty.
Have had a 32" Vizio in the bedroom for the last 8 years as our TV. Based on it's performance, I wouldn't pause getting another one.MSV Chill Spot

I saw the new 55" LG OLED at BB last weekend, stunning!!! The curved screens are a stupid idea, and I'm waiting for them to go away before getting one._____________
