6 Months.I am so lucky, I actually won my 'egg' in a contest at my local 7/Eleven. Prior to the contest, I had never heard of a BGE. I absolutely love it.I've slow smoked and eaten so much pork, I'm legally recognized as being part swine - Chatsworth Ca.

My first BGE was a large purchased 12 years ago. Small about 6 months later followed by a mini the next year. Since then another large, another small and a second mini. Still feel like a rookie anytime I try something new.
