Is it a coincidence that dates for Salado Eggfest have lined up with SXSW the last two years, or is that all part of the diabolic plan? I ask because I have an opportunity to choose my schedule for next year and would like to ensure that I have off so I can make it down there. Couldn't get the time off this year.

I got a taste of SXSW and Salado. Salado won, hands down. The strange people in Salado were much friendlier and liked BGE's.1 Large BGE, 1 Mini BGE, 1 Minimax BGE, Original wife and 3 dogs living in the heart of BBQ country in Round Rock Texas.

I am going to try to grab March 14. Have to work with the city to nail it down.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.
